ATLANTA, July 31, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- The Plant Engineering and Maintenance Association of Canada (PEMAC) and the Society for Maintenance & Reliability Professionals (SMRP) have partnered together for a two-part webinar series on asset management. The webinars are scheduled to take place on September 7 and 14, 2017, with a third happening in January 2018.
The two September webinars focus on the Nova Scotia Power (NSPI) asset management journey and how the organization supports equipment integrity through predictive maintenance and risk-based inspection. Warren Rodgers, senior engineer of the asset management office, leads the discussion on NSPI's asset management programs.
The third webinar explores process improvement methodology with Lindsay Hall, Manager, Britannia Beach with EPCOR Utilities. This presentation dives into the change of EPCOR Water Services, Inc. (EWSI) from a traditional management system development to the process improvement methodology and how it helped develop procedures and tools to resolve operations gaps.
