Pelosi and Delegation Arrive in Afghanistan
KABUL, Afghanistan, May 8 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Speaker Nancy Pelosi led a Congressional Delegation to Afghanistan, where they met today with U.S. Forces and were briefed by U.S. Ambassador Karl Eikenberry and General Stanley McChrystal, commander of the International Security Assistance Force and U.S. Forces-Afghanistan.
The delegation met tonight in Kabul with President Hamid Karzai to discuss the political and security situation in Afghanistan.
