Pella® Introduces New Generation of Entry Doors
- Fiberglass, steel entry doors evolve into three distinct styles -
PELLA, Iowa, Oct. 25, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Fall is the perfect time to replace your front door. A welcoming entry can be a warm invitation for guests visiting during the holidays or adding curb appeal year-round. This fall, Pella introduces three new stylish entry door lines featuring ENERGY STAR® and Pella exclusive performance innovations.
"We designed three distinctive entry door lines to give consumers more choices in style, performance and building material," said Steve Brenizer, product marketing manager at Pella. "Customers can choose a door that fits their home's style and a price that fits their budget."
Pella offers a broad selection of door style, color and hardware combinations. The vast array of choices combined with factory-built reliability, the Pella installation system and prefinish options makes an entry door replacement process come together in one seamless package.
The three new products include Architect Series® wood-grain fiberglass entry door systems, Pella® entry door systems in fiberglass or steel and Encompass by Pella® entry doors.
Architect Series entry door systems offer the look of wood without the work. Available in premium wood-grain fiberglass, consumers can get the authentic look of wood, exceptional energy efficiency and the ability to protect their home from the elements all with little maintenance.
Pella entry door systems offer the flexibility of fiberglass or steel in an extensive array of finishes. Redesigned from the inside out, our new Pella entry doors have the design flexibility of a prefinished stained or painted entry door.
Encompass by Pella entry doors offer homeowners the Pella quality they expect at a competitive price. The doors include some of Pella's most popular features and options in low-maintenance fiberglass or steel panels making them a great value to meet virtually any budget.
Paint or stain?
Homeowners may choose to stain the doors themselves, have a professional painter do it, or take advantage of Pella's prefinished paint or stain option on both steel or fiberglass doors for a consistent look. Plus Pella factory prefinished entry doors offer the flexibility of having a stained finish on one side of the door, like the interior or exterior, and a painted finish on the other.
What a difference a door makes
Pella team members helped Karen Hathcock of Silver Spring, Md., when she decided to purchase a new front door.
"The installation was so slick," said Hathcock. "The Pella installer and his helper were very efficient, cleaning up when they were done and they took away all the trash." Hathcock said she can now feel, see and hear a difference with her new doors, compared to her old ones. "There's much better temperature control, they're beautiful and (the doors) took out the exterior noise. I love them."
The new line of entry doors from Pella will be available in the coming weeks nationwide in Lowe's® and is now available through Pella Window & Door Showrooms across the U.S. and Canada.
