Peerspace Brings Its Online Marketplace of Unique Spaces to Chicago
With hundreds of unique locations available through Peerspace, the Windy City's events, productions, and corporate functions get elevated
SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 15, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Peerspace, the world's leading online marketplace to find and book space for meetings, events and production, today announced its arrival in Chicago. Starting this week, Peerspace is bringing Chicago's most inspiring spaces online with its simple to browse and book marketplace. Already available in five other US markets, Chicago's marketplace joins the San Francisco Bay Area, Los Angeles, New York, Seattle and Austin.
In a continued effort to challenge the status quo of traditional meeting space offered by hotels and restaurants, Peerspace's team has been hard at work over the last two months bringing Chicago's most exceptional venues onto its platform. At launch, over 170 listings are available for booking. The marketplace showcases a wide breadth of spaces, ranging from white-walled warehouses to historic museums.
Among its users, Peerspace counts a large number of entrepreneurs, photographers, artists, and employees from the nation's largest businesses. In San Francisco alone, Peerspace is working with over 20 of the top 25 Bay Area tech employers. The company is anticipating similar adoption by Chicago's biggest brands.
"Peerspace was founded with a vision for putting people in the places that inspire them," said Peerspace founder and CEO, Rony Chammas. "Chicago is known for the originality of its architecture. We knew finding awe-inspiring spaces wouldn't be difficult, but we wanted to curate a collection that not only looks great, but also meets the needs of all our guests, whose uses range from team offsites, to film shoots, and bridal showers. We want to be the destination for any function Chicagoans would like to have happen outside of their home or office by making the untapped potential of Chicago's most interesting locations accessible. We think some truly unique and absolutely memorable activities will happen in these places."
As Peerspace's first market in the Midwest, Chicago marks an important move toward nationwide growth. Additionally, Chicago marks the first city that is launching with Peerspace's Concierge Services available to guests starting today. If guests need help finding and booking vendors for their next function, Peerspace has a team that will handle all logistics for services such as catering and A/V, using a trusted list of vendor partners. This additional service makes Peerspace a one stop shop for all event needs.
