Peak Rock Capital Adds William Kuntz As A Principal, Focused On The Technology Sector

AUSTIN, Texas, March 1, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Peak Rock Capital LLC ("Peak Rock" or the "Firm"), a leading middle-market private equity firm, today announced that William Kuntz has joined the Firm as a Principal, focused on the technology and tech-enabled services sectors.  In his role, Mr. Kuntz will work closely with Peak Rock's senior leadership team to help drive the Firm's technology and tech-enabled services investment strategy.

Peak Rock raised its inaugural fund of over $700 million in 2013, and since then has made ten platform investments and numerous add on acquisitions across a variety of industries.  The Firm's core investment strategy is to acquire middle-market companies where it can work with senior management to drive rapid growth and profit improvement through operational and strategic change.

Mr. Kuntz was most recently a Principal at Housatonic Partners, where he led investments in technology businesses, including the software, digital media and technology-enabled services sectors.  He has served as a board member for multiple portfolio companies.  Prior to joining Housatonic Partners, Mr. Kuntz was a Vice President at Vance Street Capital and an Associate with Internet Capital Group and Summit Partners.  Mr. Kuntz received a master's degree in business administration from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a master's and bachelor's degree in English from Stanford University.
