Peace Starts with Me - "The Mother of Peace Comes to the City of Angels"

LOS ANGELES, March 15, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- On April 6, 2019, come and join Angelinos and Americans everywhere for the Peace Starts with Me rally being held at the City of Refuge Church in Gardena, CA, hosted by world-renowned Bishop Noel Jones. Admission is free and all are welcome. The event will feature Grammy Award-winning artist Bishop Hezekiah Walker and a 500-voice choir. The rally will be produced and directed by Emmy Award-winning director A. Curtis Farrow. Bishop Noel Jones and the City of Refuge will welcome peacemakers from around the world and an inspirational message will be delivered by the "Mother of Peace," Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon, co-founder of FFWPU International.
The Peace Starts with Me rally is back by popular demand! First held at Madison Square Garden in 2017, Peace Starts with Me united thousands of people from a wide variety of national, racial, and religious backgrounds. This phenomenal event was repeated November 12, 2018 at Nassau Coliseum and is now headed west for dates in LA and other cities around the country.
Mr. Farrow broke his world record for the largest gospel choir at Madison Square Garden with 3,000 voices and again with 5,000 voices at Nassau Coliseum. The event promises to be a soul-shaking display of peace in action. There will be singing, dancing, foot stomping, hand clapping and the energy from the City of Refuge will radiate peace across the state of California. Bishop Hezekiah Walker and the 500-voice choir will sing his hit "Every Praise" and the highlight of the rally will be the keynote message by Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon.

BISHOP NOEL JONES
For nearly 40 years, Bishop Noel Jones has challenged us through his messages. A theologian and scholar who has been labeled "eclectic, a maverick, and a preacher's preacher," he is known for thinking outside the box and forcing us to think beyond traditional views of God and spirituality. Hezekiah Walker has two Grammy Awards, as well as numerous Stellar, Dove, Vision, Soul Train, and Gospel Music Workshop of America (GMWA) Awards to Hez and LFC's credit, and Hez's active and ongoing pastoring of the thriving Love Fellowship Church, which he founded in his native Brooklyn, New York, he is clearly a man in no mood to lay back and rest on his laurels. DR. HAK JA HAN MOON
Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon, affectionately known as the "Mother of Peace," is the only female leader of a global religious movement. For the past three years, she has been on a worldwide "Peace Starts With Me" speaking tour, calling every individual to become a co-creator of a lasting peaceful world, starting with themselves. A choir director since the age of nine, Mr. Farrow was named as one of the most influential men in Gospel music. In 2014 Mr. Farrow fulfilled a long-time dream to break the Guinness World Record for World's Largest Gospel Choir by organizing and leading 1171 voices. 2017 found Mr. Farrow repeating this feat on an even grander scale, amassing a 3000 Voice Choir for Peace at Madison Square Garden.
For the nineteenth year Mr. Farrow brought his directing and producing talents to make McDonald's Gospelfest 2018 the most successful and well attended gospel event ever and has received 14 Emmy nominations won two Emmy awards for producing the McDonald's Gospelfest television specials for the past nineteen years. Mr. Farrow was responsible for the organization, planning and execution of the home going services for the Late Whitney Houston, and in August produced and managed the Homegoing Services of the Queen, Aretha Franklin in Detroit, watched by millions around the world.
