ORANGEBURG, N.Y., June 2, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- PDI, a leader in infection prevention products and solutions, today announced it will host two new product demonstrations, as well as its 9th annual PDI Extravaganza, at the Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology (APIC) Annual Conference. The largest educational forum for infection prevention and epidemiology professionals, more than 2500 clinical professionals will convene in Charlotte, North Carolina from June 11-13.
In conjunction with the launch of its new Easy Screen™ Cleaning Wipe and Prevantics® Device Swab Strip, PDI will host demonstration areas in exhibitor booth #1417 where attendees can test out both new offerings. The Easy Screen Cleaning Wipe addresses the increasing use of touch-screen equipment in healthcare and the need for compatible cleaning products, while the Prevantics Device Swab Strip provides effective central line associated bloodstream infection (CLABSI) protection at point-of-care, where and when healthcare professionals need it most.
Additionally, PDI is hosting their PDI Extravaganza at Charlotte's NASCAR Hall of Fame on June 11 from 7 to 9 p.m. All APIC registrants are welcome to enjoy an evening of food, drinks and networking. Guests will also have full access to tour the interactive exhibits in the NASCAR Hall of Fame Museum. To register to attend, click here. APIC badges are required for entry.
