ORANGEBURG, N.Y., July 28, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- PDI, a leader in infection prevention products and solutions, announces the appointments of Keith St. John to Vice President of Clinical Affairs and Debra Hagberg to Director of Clinical Affairs. Both roles will support PDI's Infection Prevention business, including PDI Healthcare and Sani Professional® divisions, serving to further elevate the Company's position as a trusted resource for infection prevention.

In his new role, Keith will focus on developing and maintaining relationships with government agencies, industry associations and key opinion leaders. He joins PDI with significant experience managing programs at teaching institutions, hospitals and specialty care centers. As an acclaimed thought leader, Keith has authored 25 scientific abstracts, 10 journal articles and several educational book chapters. In his previous role at Wolters Kluwer Health, Keith served as a Clinical Epidemiologist and Clinical Program Manager.
Debra, a former member of PDI's Medical Science Liaison team for nine years, returns to develop PDI's clinical strategy aimed at delivering high-impact educational programs and establishing evidence-based protocols. She will also serve as the corporate medical affairs contact for customers. Prior to returning to PDI, Debra served as Clinical Program Manager, Infection Prevention, at Wolters Kluwer Health.
Keith holds a Master of Science degree in Clinical Microbiology from Thomas Jefferson University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology from University of Delaware. He is a past President of CBIC, a past President of the Delaware Valley-Philadelphia APIC Chapter and served eight years on the USP Expert Compounding Committee. Keith is also a long-standing member of APIC and SHEA. Debra earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology from the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth. Both hold certifications in infection control (CIC) and medical technology (ASCP).
