Of particular note is the installation of a Bioquell isolator at TRI that will be incorporated into its hands-on educational courses including the industry-leading Aseptic Processing Training Program.

PDA offers both lecture and hands-on laboratory instruction at its Training and Research Institute (TRI) facility, located at PDA's Global Headquarters in Bethesda, Maryland.
The only stand-alone facility of its kind, PDA's TRI features an aseptic processing suite, including a fill room, gowning room, component prep lab, and a clean staging area. The facility also houses microbiology, biotechnology, and Clean-In-Place labs, along with traditional classrooms, all of which are used during laboratory training courses.
