pCloud Brings Powerful Add-on For Extended File Versioning
ZUG, Switzerland, Oct. 31, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- pCloud account owners can now take advantage of additional file versioning for their data in the cloud, thanks to the release of the Extended File History add-on.
Extended File History
Following a series of updates, cloud storage player pCloud has recently introduced a new way how users can enhance the service's file recovery options. It's called Extended File History and it extends the period up to which users can recover lost or deleted content.
Currently pCloud account owners can restore older versions or deleted files for a period of either 15 or 30 days – depending on their subscription.
Extended File History is a new add-on to existing accounts, which allows users to prolong the period up to which they can version and restore content to 360 days. This additional perk becomes effective immediately after purchase and applies for all pCloud file recovery and versioning features:
File Revisions
File Revisions make it possible for users to track older versions of each file in their account for the last 15 or 30 days, with the option to restore or download content.
Trash
Trash is where account owners can find all deleted files, which can be either recovered or permanently deleted from pCloud's servers.
Rewind
With pCloud Rewind, users can restore their entire account to how it was before 15 or 30 days. The feature prevents users from losing data that has been corrupted or infected with a virus.
Extended File History is the perfect offering for those working with large amounts of data that is edited frequently on a daily basis. It is designed to make users feel safe in case an accidental deletion or lost changes.
