PBS Series ASK THIS OLD HOUSE® Visits The Gulf Coast For The First Time
CONCORD, Mass., Oct. 7, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- ASK THIS OLD HOUSE® tackles all sorts of home improvement projects and this week the show is headed to the Gulf Coast. The PBS series will be visiting homeowners in Mobile, AL, Biloxi, MS and New Orleans, LA October 8-10, when the cast and crew will be filming episodes featuring home repair projects with local homeowners that will appear in the current season of ASK THIS OLD HOUSE. The series premiered its 12th season nationally on Thursday, October 3 on PBS (check www.thisoldhouse.com/tvschedule or your local listings).
Featuring some familiar faces, ASK THIS OLD HOUSE experts include host Kevin O'Connor, general contractor Tom Silva, plumbing and heating expert Richard Trethewey and landscape contractor Roger Cook.
"We're very excited to visit Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana in our 12th season," says producer Heath Racela. "The Gulf Coast region has its own unique challenges and we chose to highlight projects that are specific to this part of the country – like dealing with high humidity and gardening along the coast."
