NEW YORK, June 2, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- NBR Worldwide LLC, the owner of PBS' Nightly Business Report (NBR), today announced the opening of a new Denver bureau as part of an agreement with Rocky Mountain PBS.
The Denver bureau, which opened on June 1, will cover stories of national interest that address Denver and the Mountain West region of the U.S. The opening of the Denver bureau follows Nightly Business Report's launch of a bureau in Silicon Valley in November.
"We are proud to announce our partnership with Rocky Mountain PBS and the opening of the Denver bureau of the Nightly Business Report," said Mykalai Kontilai, Chairman and Chief Executive of NBR Worldwide. "As stewards of one of the most respected business news television shows in history, we are committed to ensuring Nightly Business Report remains an elite program and vital source of business news. Each week, Hessin convenes a group of expert guests to discuss topics in the news, from the economy and the environment to education and other issues pertinent to the Colorado audience in her "Colorado State of Mind" program.
"This partnership gives Rocky Mountain PBS the opportunity to highlight Colorado business stories, and contribute to this well-respected business broadcast, which has long been a favorite with our viewers," said Doug Price, president and CEO of Rocky Mountain PBS. "Our ongoing commitment to accurate and in-depth information is a match with the Nightly Business Report's values, allowing us to present regional stories as a lens on national issues."
