T-Mobile announced that from October 31^st 2013, it would end international data fees and charges for text messages completely in over 100 countries, in addition to reducing the per minute charges for making calls when roaming abroad to $0.20 per minutes.

• If in doubt of what roaming charges are, consumers should turn off roaming data when they travel and opt to only connect automatically to free Wi-Fi services when these become available.
