Pauley Perrette, Star of NCIS, Launches New Single With Hip Hop Newcomer Artist B. Taylor on Bungalo Records/UMGD With Release Date Set for May 3rd On iTunes
LOS ANGELES, April 1, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Pauley Perrette, best known for her role as Agent Abby Sciuto on the EMMY nominated series, NCIS, on CBS is set to launch a new single release with Navy Veteran and Classic Motown endorsed hip hop artist, B. Taylor. The upcoming single release is entitled "Fire In Your Eyes".
Pauley recently presented BEST ROCK ALBUM at the 2011 Grammy Awards to English Alternative Rock Band, MUSE, alongside Paramore. Taylor walked the red carpet with Motown Legends in attendance. It was subsequently thereafter that she hooked up with Taylor in studio where they began recording their first collaborative single release.
"Working with B. Taylor making music has been not only inspiring because he is so talented, but also a complete joy because he has such a generous and amazing spirit," says Perrette.
B. Taylor, a Navy Veteran turned Hip hop Artist, originally met Pauley Perrette through Lieutenant Michael Smith and Commander Bob Anderson, Director of Navy Info West, the office which acts as a liaison between the Navy and Hollywood studios and shows, including NCIS.
Mastering four instruments, guitar, drums, piano and organ, Taylor initially caught the attention of Motown Legend, Pete Moore of the Miracles. Moore came on board as Taylor's executive producer and mentor. B. Taylor was officially endorsed on NBC and FOX by Pete Moore, Martha Reeves, Claudette Robinson and other Motown Legends as well as Evangelist Beverly Broadus-Green (Snoop Dogg's mother). "B. Taylor is the Stevie Wonder of Hip Hop," says Moore, "B. bridges the gap between classic Motown and Hip Hop."
In addition to being a star actress, Pauley is a singer/songwriter, recording her most recently released song, "Fear", in 2009 for the NCIS official TV soundtrack, which was featured in a Season 6 episode of NCIS. Pauley was also previously the lead singer of the rock band Lo-Ball, which was signed to Interscope-Geffen-A&M, under Universal Music Group.
Label executive, Robert (Leo) Rodgers, SVP of Bungalo/Universal Music Group Dist., adds that "this is some of Mr. Taylor's best work yet, and the huge contribution of Pauley Perrette help takes this project to new heights."
Art imitates life as Navy Series Star, Pauley Perrette joins Navy Veteran B. Taylor to release new single, FIRE IN YOUR EYES, set for ITUNES release on May 3, 2011 distributed by Bungalo Records/ Universal Music Group Distribution.
