A family owned and operated ranch since 1894, Lazy VC Kelly Ranch Inc. is home to various rams, dogs, sheep, cattle and horses.

Patty has been involved with the ranch since she was born in 1943. She took official control of the ranch after the death of her parents in 1985. Patty was a teacher for thirty years; she also worked for Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance for ten years. Specializing in administration as well as land/ranch management and operations, Patty has taken the business by the reins and has successfully expanded the ranch on her own with the help of her team of herders from Peru.
