Patriot Rail Company Appoints Matthew Reddell Vice President and Chief Safety Officer

JACKSONVILLE, Fla., Aug. 8, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Patriot Rail Company LLC (Patriot Rail) today announced the appointment of Matthew Reddell as Vice President and Chief Safety Officer.  Reddell will be a part of the Senior Leadership Team reporting to John E. Fenton, President and Chief Executive Officer.

Reddell, a 15-year veteran of the rail industry, will serve as Patriot Rail's senior safety executive charged with leading all safety efforts throughout the company's diverse rail services holdings.

Reddell joined Patriot Rail in January 2015 as Vice President and Chief Mechanical Officer.  Prior to joining Patriot Rail, he worked in various transportation, engineering, procurement, and mechanical roles with Southern Pacific, Union Pacific, Amtrak, Canadian Pacific, RailAmerica, Genesee & Wyoming, and Bombardier. 

Reddell is a military veteran, currently serving as an Armored Cavalry Officer assigned to U.S. Army Central Command.  He holds a Master of Science in Industrial Technology from the Command and General Staff College as well as certifications in Quality and Lean Manufacturing.
