Patriot National Insurance Group Appoints Paul Halter To Executive Vice President Of Underwriting And Marketing

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., April 16, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Patriot National Insurance Group, a leading provider of workers' compensation insurance solutions announced the promotion of Paul Halter to Executive Vice President of Underwriting and Marketing.  Mr. Halter was previously Regional Vice President of Patriot's Southeast Region.  As EVP, Mr. Halter will oversee all underwriting and marketing for Patriot National operations across its 6 regions.

As Regional Vice President of Patriot's southeast region Mr. Halter established a regional headquarters in Charlotte, NC and took responsibility for the states of Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia.  He grew the region from 20 appointed independent insurance agents to now over 200 with an excess of $50 million in premium.

Before joining Patriot National, Mr. Halter was Senior Vice President of US Operation for Atlas Insurance Management.  Mr. Halter has also held leadership positions with Commerce Casualty Group, Crum & Forster and Marsh & McLennan.  Mr. Halter is a Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU, Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), Certified Risk Manager (CRM) and a graduate of the College of Charleston (BS).
