Patriot Coal to Participate in Conferences

ST. LOUIS, March 8, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Patriot Coal Corporation (NYSE: PCX) today announced that it will participate in the Brean Murray, Carret & Co. 2011 Global Resources & Infrastructure Conference on Monday, March 14 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in New York.  Additionally, Patriot's President & Chief Executive Officer, Richard M. Whiting, will participate in a metallurgical coal panel at the Platts 19th Annual Coal Properties & Investment conference, to be held at 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time on Tuesday, March 15 at the PGA National Resort & Spa in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
