Patrick O'Brien Joins Egon Zehnder International US Financial Services Practice Group

NEW YORK, Nov. 8, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Patrick O'Brien has joined Egon Zehnder International as a core member of the firm's US Financial Services Practice Group, it was announced today by Alan Hilliker, Managing Partner of the firm's New York office. Mr. O'Brien will focus on the insurance sector.

Prior to joining Egon Zehnder International, Patrick O'Brien was President, Allstate Roadside Services, USA.  With a 15-year career in insurance at General Electric and Allstate, he has held senior roles in loss prevention, underwriting, operations, and general management.  Most recently, when Allstate won a competitive bid for GE's Partnership Marketing Group, the business was merged into Allstate's roadside assistance business.  Mr. O'Brien managed the combined entity where he was responsible for overall company direction and strategy.

Mr. O'Brien received his Masters in Business Administration from Columbia University and his MSc in Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.

Mr. O'Brien lives with his wife and three children in Greenwich, Connecticut.
