Patricius Wines of Tokaj Prove to be Golden in U.S. Wine Ratings and Competitions
Patricius Winery of Tokaj, Hungary continues to showcase outstanding quality and was recently awarded 'Hungary, Winery of the Year" by the New York International Wine Competition (NYIWC). The wines also recently received excellent ratings from major publications such as Wine & Spirits Magazine.
NEW YORK, July 30, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- "Katinka" Noble Late Harvest 2012 was one of only six wines in the NYIWC to be awarded a Double Gold medal. Unlike other wine competitions, the NYIWC judges are strictly trade buyers, located in the New York Metro area.

Patricius' newly launched Sparkling Wine, Brut Methode Traditionnelle, received a Gold Medal at the TexSom International Wine Competition and 91 point rating from the Ultimate Wine Challenge.
The Patricius Aszu 5 Puttonyos 2003 was one of the top participants in the Ultimate Wine Challenge and took home a Chairman's Trophy, along with a 96 point rating.
Other recent success for Patricius Tokaj include 92 points by Wine & Spirits Magazine for Katinka Noble Late Harvest 2011, and 93 points for the Patricius Aszu 5 Puttonyos 2003.
Last fall, the Tasting Panel Magazine scored the Tokaj Dry Furmint 2012 and the Yellow Muscat 2012 both at 90 points.
