Patricia Darnley Receives 2016 BusinessWomen First Award
Pittsburgh Business Times Recognizes Top Women in Pittsburgh Business Community on March 2, 2016
PITTSBURGH, March 1, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Gateway Health President and CEO, Patricia J. "Patti" Darnley has been named a BusinessWomen First award recipient by the Pittsburgh Business Times. The Pittsburgh Business Times annually honors 25 female business leaders for their accomplishments and contributions across numerous industries and organizations. In addition to leading Gateway Health since January 2014, Darnley also serves on many local business and charitable boards and foundations.

Most notably, in addition to having Darnley as President and CEO, Gateway also has a female Chief Clinical Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Chief Compliance Officer and Chief of Staff as well as several women serving as vice presidents and medical directors.
Darnley, a Pittsburgh native, holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and an MBA with a concentration in Finance from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh. In 2014, she was inducted into the Indiana University of Pennsylvania Eberly College of Business Hall of Distinction for her business achievements, leadership and high level of success in business, specifically in healthcare.
The Pittsburgh Business Times will produce a special supplement honoring the winners of the 2016 BusinessWomen First Awards. This supplement will be distributed in the March 4 issue of the Pittsburgh Business Times. The 2016 BusinessWomen First recipients will be recognized at an awards program on Wednesday, March 2 at the Westin Convention Center Hotel in downtown Pittsburgh.
