Patricia B. Cantor is recognized by Continental Who's Who as a Pinnacle Professional

GLENCOE, Ill., Oct. 25, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Patricia B. Cantor is recognized by Continental Who's Who as a Pinnacle Professional in the field of Government Services as a result of her role as Supervisor with New Trier Township.

New Trier Township was established in 1850, and currently serves the 56,000 residents in the Illinois villages of Wilmette, Kenilworth, Winnetka, and Glencoe, plus portions of Glenview and Northfield.

The Township strives to provide leadership, advocacy and resources to benefit the physical, mental and social well-being of Township residents through the funding of social services and programs; advocacy for property taxpayers, and resident services. As a resident of Glencoe for over 35 years, Patricia has a deep insight into the community and enjoys working with others and speaking to residents in public speaking venues.

In addition to her supervisory role with New Trier Township, Patricia is a member of the National Association for Professional Women, and was featured as Woman of the Year. She was listed in the NAPW Legacy Registry for 2012. She was affiliated with the Jewish Children's Bureau, where she was elected President. Patricia served on the Board of Directors for the Jewish Federation of Metro Chicago as well. Also, she has worked as an advocate for children with disabilities in local public schools.

In the past, Patricia has held key fundraising positions with the Jewish United Fund, and is currently the President of Supervisors Division of Cook County Townships of Illinois, the Chairperson of the Cook County Commission on General Assistance Appeal Program, and is on the Glencoe Human Relation Commission, and is a member with both the Glencoe Affordable Housing Planning and Appeal Action and the Glencoe Rotary.
