The technology comprises a command processor having message authentication using multiple communication channels for secure processing remote command and control functions. This IP package will be included in the upcoming sealed bid event taking place on September 26, 2013. Bids for this lot will be accepted starting September 24 through September 26.

This portfolio discloses techniques for securely communicating messages or commands over a network, such as the Internet. Upon receiving a request for initiating communication by authenticated email, a complex matrix of passwords having both valid and invalid passwords is transmitted to the requestor for authentication over a different communication channel. In response, the terminal generates an authentication response using this information – valid password and a mutually known secret – and transmits by voice only a portion of the key, which aids in preventing password thefts.
The password matrix is also changed at specified intervals to provide dynamic passwords that eliminate the need for complex software or algorithms at the message sending terminals. Different communication channels are used for communicating feedback and messages that further mitigates security risks. Finally, upon completion of authentication process, commands communicated through the messages are automatically identified and executed.
