Pascal Rigo Joins Sterne School Board of Directors
CEO and Founder of iconic San Francisco-based bakeries joins Sterne's Board
SAN FRANCISCO, May 9, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Pascal Rigo, founder and CEO of La Boulange, the San Francisco-based chain of French-inspired bakeries and its parent company The Bay Breads Group, has joined the Sterne School Board of Directors.

Rigo began his career at age seven as an apprentice in a village bakery in his hometown of Bordeaux, France. He established Boulangerie as his first San Francisco bakery in 1999. With the overwhelming success of his flagship bakery, a chain of dine-in bakeries, "La Boulange" sprouted throughout San Francisco neighborhoods.
He has been actively involved in local fundraising for organizations that serve students with learning differences and will expand upon these efforts as a member of the Sterne School Board. "I look forward to contributing toward the successes of the school and am committed to supporting the needs of youth with learning differences," Rigo said.
The Bay Bread Group is also well known as a wholesale operation in both Northern and Southern California serving customers such as Whole Foods Market and Trader Joe's. It currently employs over 700 team members.
