Partnership for Public Service Names Four New Members to its Board of Directors
WASHINGTON, April 21, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Partnership for Public Service is pleased to announce that four new members have been elected to serve on its Board of Directors. The board has elected Adm. Thad Allen (Ret.), former Commandant of the U.S. Coast Guard; the Honorable Tom Davis, director of federal government affairs at Deloitte and a seven-term Congressman from Virginia; Lloyd Howell, executive vice president of Booz Allen Hamilton; and Peter R. Orszag, vice chairman of global banking at Citigroup, Inc. and former director of the Office of Management and Budget, to serve initial three-year terms.

Adm. Thad Allen (Ret.), former Commandant of the U.S. Coast Guard
Adm. Allen had a long and accomplished career with the U.S. Coast Guard serving as the 23rd Commandant from 2006 until June 2010. During his tenure, he successfully implemented reforms to modernize the Coast Guard to adapt to future challenges. While with the Coast Guard, Adm. Allen led the agency's responses to Hurricane Katrina, the Haitian earthquake and most recently, the Deepwater Horizon oil spill clean-up efforts.
The Honorable Tom Davis, director of federal government affairs, Deloitte
Davis is the director of federal government affairs at Deloitte. Previously, he served seven terms in Congress as a Republican member of the House of Representatives, representing Virginia's 11th congressional district. Davis also served as chairman of the House Government Reform Committee. Before serving as a member of Congress, Davis was the chief elected official of Fairfax County.
Lloyd Howell, executive vice president, Booz Allen Hamilton
Howell is an executive vice president of Booz Allen Hamilton and a member of the company's executive leadership team. At Booz Allen, Howell has supported a number of industries including financial service, energy, and retail, resulting in improved performance for federal and commercial clients. Howell is a former member of Booz Allen's Board of Directors.
Peter R. Orszag, vice chairman of global banking, Citigroup, Inc.
Orszag is vice chairman of global banking at Citigroup, Inc. and a member of the senior strategic advisory group there. Prior, Orszag was director of the Office of Management and Budget and served as director of the Congressional Budget Office. In addition, during the Clinton administration, he served as a special assistant to the president for economic policy.
