Partner in Charge of New Orleans Mark Clark to Speak at National Bar Institute Event on Rules of Evidence
NEW ORLEANS, Nov. 19, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Mark Clark, partner in charge of Burleson's New Orleans office, will share strategies for handling witness testimony and reports at The Rules of Evidence: A Practical Toolkit, a seminar hosted by the National Bar Institute on Friday, Nov. 21.
It will be held at the Intercontinental New Orleans from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Clark's presentation will cover a wide range of factors to help attorneys analyze, authenticate, admit, and exclude evidence related to witness testimony and reports. Topics include character and competency, opinion testimony (lay and expert witnesses), expert admissibility, court-appointed expert witnesses, impeachment, challenges related to Frye standard versus Daubert standard, expert reports, and other expert considerations.

Clark, who has more than 20 years of experience in complex litigation, heads Burleson's new Offshore, Energy, and Marine Practice Group.
