ParkVu Announces New Music WithMe Facebook Application

LOUISVILLE, Ky., Dec. 13, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- ParkVu, makers of the popular Music WithMe applications for smartphones and Facebook, today announced the new version of the Music WithMe Facebook application. The latest version features a new and slick graphical user interface and increased user functionality. Users can now recommend and "like" their own and their Facebook friends' iTunes tracks, listen to a 30-second preview of each song and immediately purchase tracks within iTunes.

Music WithMe on Facebook allows anyone with an iTunes music library to share their musical tastes with their Facebook friends. Music WithMe's sleek new design shows users' and Facebook friends' common iTunes playlists (Top 25 Most Played Tracks, Top Rated Tracks, Recently Added Tracks and Recently Played Tracks). For each playlist a selection of tracks is displayed with full album art. Click on a playlist and it expands to show each track, including artist details and the option to recommend, "like," listen to a 30-second preview and purchase directly within iTunes.

The new Music WithMe application features increased user functionality. Users can now listen to a 30-second preview of each track and click on a direct link to purchase the song within iTunes. Not only can users recommend or "like" their own tracks but they can "like" and recommend tracks belonging to their friends' common iTunes playlists as well. All likes and recommendations are posted on users' Facebook wall for all their friends to view and comment on.

The Music WithMe companion application can be easily installed on users' Mac or Windows machine. Once connected the Music WithMe desktop client automatically syncs users' common iTunes playlists with their Facebook page. Any time a change is made to users' common iTunes playlists, Music WithMe automatically updates their Music WithMe Facebook application, reflecting the latest change.
