ParkMe Announces Launch Of Miami Beach Parking On iPhone And Android
FREE APPLICATION HELPS DRIVERS FIND PARKING IN ONE OF THE WORLD'S MOST VISITED BEACH DESTINATIONS
MIAMI BEACH, Fla., May 12, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, ParkMe and the City of Miami Beach have announced the collaborative launch of a new app that will help drivers find, secure, and pay for available parking. Miami Beach is located in a densely populated area, where parking is of major concern. The new application is free to download and available immediately on iOS and Android.
Features of the app in include real-time parking availability, direct routing to parking garage entry points, a parking rate calculator helping drivers find the cheapest option, and a timer that alerts the driver when it's time to move their vehicle. Additionally, the application integrates with Parkmobile, which allows drivers to pay for parking directly through mobile devices at participating locations.
"Customer service is a priority for us as we pursue new efficiencies and technologies," said Miami Beach Mayor Philip Levine. "We've integrated the new pay-by-phone service with our real-time parking locator app for convenient one-stop parking. This much-anticipated service will benefit both our residents and visitors."
