DALLAS, April 4, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- ParkHub today announced a total integration with Tickets.com, earning the title as a ProVenue Certified Solution. This designation marks ParkHub as the first, and to date, the only certified parking platform available to Tickets.com venues.
Tickets.com and ParkHub are both technology solution providers focused on sports and live entertainment. Where Tickets.com's platform is a full service, integrated ticketing solution designed to enable entertainment and sports organizations to sell tickets, ParkHub validates those sold tickets. Both spearhead industry-leading technology and enabling venues to capture, retrieve and own their customer data with unrestricted access to sales information, in turn providing their shared clients with a holistic view of customer buying habits and preferences. This level of insight allows venues to refine marketing strategies and forge long-term relationships with their customers. Through strategy, partnership, and innovation, Tickets.com is on a mission to disrupt the ticketing industry, where ParkHub has the same mentality and approach for the parking industry. Their shared culture encourages collaboration, transparency, and innovation.
In addition to real-time validation of pre-purchased parking, ParkHub offers other features to Tickets.com venues moving forward. George Baker Sr., ParkHub's Founder and CEO, believes that "parking is the first touch point at any event and sets the tone for the fan experience at the very beginning. Since ParkHub has taken the pain out of parking, there is no worry about the process because we have made it so easy and fast. Guests walk up to the venue with a smile on their face." Prime is ParkHub's mobile point of sale platform that cashiers use out in the lanes on game day scan passes and allow payments on the spot through secure credit card transactions, NFC (Apple Pay / Android Pay), and a proprietary cashier system to track all transaction. All data collected is transferred via an LTE connection to Portal, ParkHub's cloud-based business intelligence dashboard. The data visualization and aggregation not only gives venues an end-to-end comprehensive view of their parking operations, it has also been shown to lift their revenue 17-26% if they are transitioning from a cash-heavy operation.
According to Chris Farrar, Director of Product & Partner Management for Tickets.com, "ParkHub is the only parking platform certified for the use of ProVenue DirectConnect APIs." By definition, ParkHub stands alone in meeting and exceeding their standards and business practices, and this certification provides venues and their fans with a level of assurance that their personal data will be handled in an appropriate manner. "With the rapid move in technology towards open development access via APIs – led by Apple, Google and others – our platform was perfectly suited to leverage this trend," remarks Joe Choti, President and CEO of Tickets.com.
ParkHub partnered with their first MLB team last week, the Texas Rangers, as their official parking technology provider. On Opening Day, the Rangers parked a total of 12,914 cars at an average 1 car per second with peak ingress hitting between 12:30pm – 5:00pm. ParkHub plans to launch the Oakland A's in Oakland, CA next week.
