Parker & Sons Commends California's Recent Commitment to the HERO Energy Efficiency Program
PHOENIX, Aug. 22, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- States all across the nation are looking for new, innovative ways to commit to energy efficiency. Arizona has long held a position as one of the most energy efficient states in America. Parker & Sons, one of Phoenix's leading home services is proud to promote energy efficiency through the careful care, maintenance and renovation of plumbing and HVAC systems. California, suffering from the results of a much publicized drought is now making a similar commitment to energy efficiency through the HERO program which debuts in twenty six cities and across five counties. The HERO Property Assessed Clean Energy Program is designed to help homeowners finance water and energy efficiency home improvements.
"HERO financing brings renewable energy and energy- and water-efficiency within reach for a broad range of homeowners," said Blair McNeill, Vice President of Community Development for Renovate America, the company that administers the HERO Program. "We are excited to help people make their home more comfortable, all while saving money and reducing their impact on the environment."
Parker & Sons comments that such commitments to energy efficiency are highly commendable. Through the use of high efficiency appliance, and the installation of new, high-tech, high efficiency HVAC units, homeowners can save big on their monthly energy bill while helping to preserve the Earth's environment.
As currently reported by the organizations implementing the HERO PACE program, millions of homes a year replace their HVAC units. Often these homeowners are forced to purchase units that are suboptimal in terms of energy efficiency due to cost. The HERO PACE program is designed to fix this problem by making energy efficient units more affordable through 100 percent financing. Currently, $1.08 billion has been committed to the PACE program.
"We think that this renewed commitment to energy efficiency is a fantastic thing to see. Here in Arizona, we face many of the same conditions hitting drought stricken California. If we all work to do our part, we believe we will be able to affect major change in this world," said Josh Kelly of Parker & Sons.
