Park West Gallery Brightens Home with Military Makeover®

SOUTHFIELD, Mich., Nov. 7, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Park West Gallery, known for fine art auctions on cruise ships, live art auctions in major metropolitan areas and art galleries in Detroit and Miami Lakes, Florida, is appearing on the television series Military Makeover® to brighten the home of a military family.

Park West Gallery Director Morris Shapiro joins actor and retired United State Marine Corps Staff Sergeant, R. Lee Ermey, in transforming the home of the Phinizy family on Military Makeover airing on Lifetime Television® starting Nov. 11.

The producers of the award-winning television show Designing Spaces® created the mini-series to honor the men and women who risk everything to protect the United States. Military Makeover, host, Ermey, co-host, Art Edmonds, and the show's sponsors are dedicated to giving back by assisting veterans and their families with the help of designers, decorators, landscapers and other experts.

Park West Gallery provided American-inspired works by artists Peter Max, Norman Rockwell, Romero Britto and Tim Yanke to the family. The gallery also custom framed several works from the family's collection, including paintings by Billy Phinizy.

The Military Makeover series airs on Lifetime Television at 7:30 a.m. (EST/PST) on the following days:

Episode 1 – November 11 and 18
Episode 2 – November 25 and December 2
Episode 3 – December 9 and 16
