NEW YORK, July 10, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Pareteum Corporation (NYSE American: TEUM), the rapidly growing Cloud Communications Platform company, announced today that the Company expects to report revenues of at least $5.75 million, which represents approximately 78% growth for the second quarter ended June 30, 2018, as compared to a year ago. The second quarter's expected 2018 revenues will represent an approximate 40% sequential growth over the first quarter of 2018, demonstrating the strong growth in connections that was previously reported in the first quarter of 2018.
Connections, which are a lead indicator of revenue, rose to approximately 2,713,600 as of June 30, 2018, representing a 22.5% quarter over quarter growth in 2018. The year over year increase, from the end of the second quarter 2017 to the end of the second quarter 2018, was a significant 225%, providing management the confidence to increase its projected 2018 revenue outlook to a substantial 80% annual revenue growth over 2017's year-end totals.
