Of the more than 400 parents surveyed, 80% admitted that their children lost items at school last year. Of those parents, 73% never recovered the lost and unlabeled school supplies, and 27% spent more than $50 replacing those lost items. In contrast, the parents who did label their children's school supplies always recovered their lost items.
