Abrams' Star Trek Into Darkness has grossed an estimated $13.6 million domestically for the weekend in 336 North American IMAX® 3D theatres. Of the film's 20 highest-grossing domestic engagements since it debuted in North America on Wednesday, May 15, 17 of them featured an IMAX screen. In addition, to date, the film has grossed approximately $20 million in IMAX theatres worldwide.
