Papa John's Pizza Delivers For A Good Cause

DALLAS, Oct. 20, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- It's a home run for a good cause thanks to fans of Papa John's and the Texas Rangers. Throughout the 2015 regular season, Papa John's offered fans two large one-topping pizzas for $16.60. Each time fans entered promo code HOLLAND, Papa John's donated $1.60 to the Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation and 60 Feet 6, the foundation founded by Ranger's pitcher Derek Holland.

Collectively, fans scored more than $27,500 for the organizations. The Papa John's donation will support the Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation's youth initiatives and fight pediatric leukemia through 60 Feet 6.   

"60 Feet 6 started because I met a Ranger's fan who was going through leukemia. He taught me a lot about the meaning of life and reminded me of what's really important," said Holland. "This donation honors his memory. Thank you to Papa John's and all the fans for supporting 60 Feet 6 and the Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation."

Papa John's presented the check to the organizations before the regular season finale on October 4.
