PITTSBURGH, Sept. 5, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- PANTHERx Specialty Pharmacy is a Pittsburgh-based entity and is one of the nation's fastest growing specialty pharmacies. It will be a new option for University of Pittsburgh faculty and staff to receive their specialty medications. The University of Pittsburgh, consisting of approximately 13,200 faculty and staff members, currently contracts with UPMC Health Plan for medical insurance, which includes prescription drug coverage.
