PANO announces endorsement of the Health Alliance for Nonprofits Program

HARRISBURG, Pa., Aug. 22, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The Health Alliance for Nonprofits Program (HANP) started in the early 1990's to help nonprofit organizations purchase competitively priced health insurance solutions. Much has changed since the 1990s, but the significant news currently is the announcement that the Pennsylvania Association of Nonprofit Organizations (PANO) is now the sponsoring organization. Until now, the sponsoring organization was the United Way Allegheny County.

With PANOs endorsement, a 20-year tradition of delivering customized insurance programs and practical business solutions to nonprofit service organizations in a limited geography, will now expand to provide programs for health, human, social services nonprofit organizations throughout Pennsylvania.
