LOS ANGELES, June 20, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Panasonic Consumer Electronics Company will showcase its innovative line of home products at Dwell on Design 2014 taking place at the Los Angeles Convention Center, June 20-22. Panasonic, located in booth #1001, will display an array of products for the home, ranging from small kitchen appliances and vacuums, to 4K wearable camcorders and massage chairs.
The company will also introduce the new MC-CL943 Urban Vacuum Series Bagless Canister and a new Home Monitoring solution. Celebrity interior designer Robin Wilson, brand ambassador for Panasonic home products, will report and post important trends at the show and will be in the Panasonic booth on Friday, June 20 providing tips on how to achieve design trends with Panasonic's products. Consumers can follow Robin's design tips via @RWHome and on www.PanasonicHome.com.
Modern Designs to Fit Every Home
At Dwell on Design, Panasonic will unveil the new MC-CL943 Urban Vacuum Series Bagless Canister. Designed specifically for smaller spaces, the Urban Vacuum uses a unique compact nozzle with swivel steering to easily clean tight spaces under, around and between furniture. The nozzle also provides superior bare floor cleaning, with soft bristles to gently polish wood and better pick up dust and dirt in wood plank crevices. Equipped with JetForce technology, the MC-CL943 hourglass-shaped dirt cup pushes large debris toward the bottom of the cup and away from the filter to prevent clogging and loss of suction. The MC-CL943 provides superior cleaning power in a compact, easy-to-store machine that is perfect for those living in smaller spaces.
The new Panasonic Home Monitoring solution will also debut at Dwell on Design. The Home Monitoring System is a connected solution to help make home monitoring versatile, expandable and easier than ever before. With Panasonic Home Monitoring you can control power for lighting and appliances; monitor babies or pets; view areas inside and outside the home and record with motion detection technology. With multiple points of access including smartphone or tablet alerts, Panasonic Home Monitoring provides integrated two-way communication whether at home or away.
For the Kitchen
Panasonic will display its line of modern Genius Prestige Microwave Ovens featuring exclusive Inverter Technology. Unlike other microwave ovens that deliver lower heat settings by pulsing the power on and off repeatedly which can result in overcooked food and cold spots, Inverter Technology delivers a seamless stream of cooking power – even at lower power settings – for convenient, quick cooking that preserves the flavor and texture of foods. With Inverter Technology, you can poach, braise and even steam more delicate foods, all with the speed and convenience of a microwave. The Breakfast Collection Tea Kettle, Coffee Maker and Toaster will also be on display, proving that even small kitchen appliances can be stylish without sacrificing usability.
Home Communication and Connectivity
Panasonic will also display a variety of home communication items including its Link2Cell technology which transforms the traditional landline telephone into a connected device. The Link2Cell Docking Station (KX-PRL262) provides a home telephone, smartphone docking station for charging and music playback, and allows you to make or receive mobile phone calls using the landline handsets. The company will also display new Premium Design Series phones (KX-PRW120W and KX-PRW130W) which offer sleek and modern design aesthetics, and enhanced technology with Smartphone Connect which allows a tablet or smartphone to double as an additional handset. Users can make or receive landline phone calls with a tablet or Smartphone when it's connected to the same Wi-Fi network as their home phone.
4K Technology
Moving beyond home appliance products, Panasonic will also showcase the company's latest in 4K technology with the new AX800 4K Ultra HD TV which produces astounding picture quality and is equipped with Life+Screen, Panasonic's exclusive Smart TV platform. Life+Screen is an easy-to-use interface that learns content preferences of individual users and makes navigation far easier and more personal than ever before. And, the new A500 4K Wearable Camcorder, the world's first 4K wearable camera, will be on display to show attendees the next generation of wearable action cameras with flexible point-of-view mounting that records crystal clear video of the action – just how you experience it.
The Panasonic booth will also host the company's latest innovative massage chairs, where show-goers can take a few minutes to relax and get a full-body massage.
