Panama City condominiums and properties throughout Panhandle to sell in June 25 auction
TALLAHASSEE, Fla., June 6, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Centennial Bank will auction nine Panama City Beach condominiums at auction Tuesday, June 25, as the bank reduces its inventory of owned real estate throughout the Panhandle.
"These units are right on the Grand Lagoon. I think they'll be attractive to investors seeking to lease or resell them, to individuals who live and work in the area, or to those seeking a Panama City Beach condo for vacations and recreational use," said Buddy Lee, manager of Florida operations for John Dixon & Associates, which is managing the auction.
A waterview home site at Anglers Point and U.S. 98 in Carrabelle may also attract considerable interest. "This area looks directly across Apalachicola Bay to St. George Island," said Lee.
The group of properties being sold includes dozens of home sites throughout the area from west of Panama City to Tallahassee. "In addition to the developed home sites, we have a good bit of land that is already platted, and this can be very valuable to developers," said Lee. "Smart investors and builders have been accumulating attractive home sites so they'll have places to build new homes as the economy picks up. But as the real estate market strengthens and banks continue to reduce their inventories, opportunities like this one may not be around much longer."
The auction will be held at the Hotel Duval, 415 North Monroe Street, Tallahassee Street, beginning at 1 p.m. Individuals seeking additional information may visit www.johndixon.com or call 800-479-1763.
