Pan Am Invited by Dept. of Commerce to Participate in Korean Mission at AESTM
MIAMI, Oct. 17, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Pan Am International Flight Academy, a leader in aviation training worldwide, has been invited to participate in the U.S. Department of Commerce Aerospace Executive Service Trade Mission (AESTM) to be held Oct. 17-20, 2011, Seoul Korea. This prestigious and highly selective invitation was awarded Pan Am based upon their capacity in the Asian market, their training capabilities, and adaptability in meeting specified needs.
The AESTM Program's purpose is to assist American companies in making important contact with the industry's key players in the Asian Pacific region. The program combines aspects of a trade mission, trade show presence and networking activities and is jointly organized by The U.S. Department of Commerce, International Trade Administration (ITA). Aerospace & Defense Technologies Teams and the U.S. Commercial Service in Seoul (CS Korea).
Pan Am executives anticipate expanding international business relations with industry leaders in the region and is one of only a handful of U.S. companies invited to attend this highly exclusive Trade Mission.
The Republic of Korea (Korea), host to the event, is an economic leader in East Asia. Korea is the 7th largest market for U.S. exports as well as the 9th largest market for U.S. aerospace exports with $3.0 billion of U.S. aerospace exports in 2010.
Attendees include government officials, senior company managers, and high-level executives involved in the region's aerospace and defense market. The International prominence, intense focus and key attendees create an ideal setting for stimulating Pan Am business development packages.
Pan Am representative, Mr. Gregory Darrow, Director of Marketing will be introduced to international agents, distributors and end-users, be advised on local market conditions and opportunities, and will participate in pre-arranged meetings with potential partners. Tuesday evening, Mr. Darrow and other attendees will attend a welcoming reception at the Ambassador's Residence, the "Habib House."
The AESTM event will take place at the Seoul Air Show 2011, which will be held October 17-20, 2011 at Sungnam Seoul Airport. The biennial Seoul Air Show, is one of the world's premier aerospace and defense technology events and is the foremost platform for companies to showcase their services in the region.
