PAMA Launches Comprehensive New Awning Website, Expands Social Media Tools
Simplified web presence educates and informs about fabric awnings with easy navigation and rich content.
ROSEVILLE, Minn., Nov. 15, 2010 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Professional Awning Manufacturers Association (PAMA), a trade association committed to the awning industry, has unveiled a dramatically redesigned website: awninginfo.com.
The new site embodies the forward-thinking vision and commitment to the growing needs of its association members and offers deeper content for professional, commercial and consumer awning markets. In addition, PAMA has expanded its internet presence using social media tools – Facebook for consumers, the LinkedIn professional community as well as a YouTube channel.
From three sites to one
Previously, PAMA maintained three distinct websites for its diverse audience. "By combining all of our information about awnings and their benefits into one website, we believe we will better serve both our members and their constituents," said Byron Yonce, PAMA Chairperson and President of TCT&A Industries. "Now, with our simplified web presence, streamlined information, better images, improved searchability and extensive use of social media, awning information will be easier for members and potential buyers to find, and all of the resources will be at their fingertips in one location."
Public awareness of awning benefits key to website
The site continues to support the Awnings Today public awareness campaign launched by PAMA five years ago with the goal of educating consumers about the benefits of awnings including energy savings, UV protection and expanded outdoor living spaces. "This year, we expanded our outreach to include the design/build, architectural and landscape communities, and this site will be the anchor for that expansion," says Michelle Sahlin, managing director of PAMA.
