Palomar and Arrowhead Launch Value Select Residential Earthquake Product in Oregon and Washington
LA JOLLA, Calif., May 12, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Palomar Specialty Insurance Company, in partnership with Arrowhead General Insurance Agency, Inc. and TriCoast Insurance Services, LLC, has launched its revolutionary Value Select Residential Earthquake Insurance program in Oregon and Washington. Value Select was introduced in California in early 2015 and has been well-received for its flexible coverage options, deductibles as low as 2.5%, and competitive rates.
Value Select is distributed exclusively through Arrowhead and TriCoast via Arrowhead Exchange, which offers a quick one-minute quoting process. Arrowhead and TriCoast are currently appointing agents and producers.
"Palomar is excited to build upon Value Select's success in California and offer a one-of-a-kind product to homeowners in Oregon and Washington. While the San Andreas Fault spanning California is more widely recognized, the Cascadia subduction zone spanning Washington and Oregon is capable of producing an earthquake many times stronger. Value Select provides à la carte coverage tailored to a homeowner's needs and is not only designed to attract homeowners who already have insurance coverage for the peril of earthquake but also those who have historically shied away from earthquake insurance," said Palomar CEO Mac Armstrong.
