Annual Computer Equipment Donation Drive
May 28, 11am to 1pm
Palo Alto and Los Altos, CA.
PAU will host its annual computer equipment drive with Camara on Thursday, May 28, 2015. Camara is one of the world's leading education-based charities. Its goal is to improve learning in disadvantaged communities around the world through the use of technology. Your donation will support delivering education technology for Haiti and Africa. Please donate your old computers, desktops, laptops, monitors, printers, keyboards, and mice to this worthy cause. Camara will erase and clean all donated devices' data before shipping them to schools in countries that are desperately in need of technology in their classrooms.
Mr. Blake Burke, Chairman of Camara USA, commented: "We are delighted to work with Palo Alto University in this initiative. Having such a well-respected educational institution share its resources with schools and colleges in very impoverished countries says a lot about the ethos of the college."
- Camara staff will be at two Palo Alto University campuses' parking lots on Thursday May 28th:
- 11am to 12 Noon: PAU main campus, 1791 Arastradero Road, Palo Alto, CA. (Drop off location outside of Delivery, Building 3, next to PAU Library)
