Palladium Group and The Economist Bring Together A Powerful Business Executive Panel to Boston, MA this October 30-31 for the 2013 Global Summit
BOSTON, Aug. 8, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Palladium Group, Inc., the global leader in helping organizations solve pressing strategy execution challenges is pleased to announce a powerful lineup of business executives for a panel on "Creative Corporate Culture" at the upcoming Global Summit in Boston. The panel will be led by The Economist, one of the most widely recognized and well-read current affairs publications. The panel will be moderated by Adrian Wooldridge, Management Editor, at The Economist, and will feature senior management leaders who are drivers of change in their industries from beverages to health care to entertainment and technologies. We are delighted to have on our panel: Brian Kelley, President, Chief Executive Officer and Director, Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, Inc. (GMCR); Jonathan Bush, Chief Executive Officer, President and Chairman of the Board of Directors, athenahealth, Inc.; and, Richard Gelfond, Chief Executive Officer, IMAX.
Jonathan Bush is Chief Executive Officer, President, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of athenahealth, Inc. He co-founded the Company in 1997 and took it public in 2007 in the most successful initial public offering that year. Bush and his partners set about designing a solution to address the costly administrative inefficiencies that plagued their own business. In doing so, they came to realize their circumstance was more typical than unique and that the solution they architected had great application and utility for the broader health delivery system. Given his vision for an information infrastructure that makes health care work as it should, Bush is focused on creating a true, win-win marketplace that enables a broad and efficient exchange of health information. Today, athenahealth remains one of the health care information technology industry's fastest growing companies.
Richard (Rich) Gelfond is Chief Executive Officer of IMAX Corporation. Under Gelfond's leadership, IMAX has evolved from a niche purveyor of nature and science documentaries to a Hollywood movie force — both as high-tech exhibitor and, increasingly, as creative partner in the movie-making process – and one of the world's leading entertainment technology companies. Gelfond, one of entertainment's longest-tenured executives, joined IMAX in 1994 as co-chairman after his firm, Cheviot Capital Advisors, bought the company. Gelfond previously served as an investment banker in mergers and acquisitions with Drexel Burnham Lambert. Gelfond is a member of the board of directors of the Atlantic Council. He is also a member of the Motion Picture Academy of Arts & Science. In 1996, Gelfond and investment partner Brad Wechsler received an Academy Award on behalf of IMAX for Scientific and Technical Achievement.
Brian Kelley is President, Chief Executive Officer and Director of GMCR. He joined GMCR in December 2012 from The Coca-Cola Company, where he held a number of senior leadership positions—President of Coca-Cola Refreshments, Chief Product Supply Officer of Coca Cola Refreshments and President of Coca-Cola's North America Business Integration, during which he led the total integration of the acquisition of the North American assets of Coca-Cola Enterprises into a new company, Coca-Cola Refreshments. Prior to Coca-Cola, Kelley was President and Chief Executive of SIRVA, Inc. (formerly North American Van Lines), a $3.7 billion leading provider of relocation solutions to a well-established and diverse customer base around the world; President of Ford Motor Company's $13 billion Lincoln/Mercury division; and Vice President and General Manager, Sales and Distribution at GE Appliances.
