NEW YORK and NEWARK, N.J., Sept. 12, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Pager and Horizon Healthcare Services, Inc., New Jersey's oldest and largest health insurer with more than 3.8 million members, today announced a strategic agreement to engage Horizon members and navigate through their healthcare journey, beginning with an initial phase among selected members later in 2017.

This is a milestone collaboration for both Pager and Horizon. For Horizon, it marks a critical investment in its digital strategy and a commitment to a consumer-centric member experience. For Pager, it illustrates the company's ability to provide an effective care navigation and coordination solution for major health plans and health systems. 

Pager provides Horizon members with a mobile-based single entry point into what for many find to be a fragmented and confusing healthcare system. Through an AI-powered and intuitive messaging interface, Pager guides members to the most convenient and cost-effective point of care and immediately and seamlessly connects them with providers through video consults or scheduled appointments with primary care doctors.
