Paessler Reports 39% Global Sales Growth for 2013, Spurred by Boost in Company Partnerships

AUSTIN, Texas and NUREMBERG, Germany, Feb. 11, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Paessler AG, the innovative network monitoring solutions specialist, today announced its preliminary financial results for 2013, reporting strong revenue increases for the year globally as well as in the United States, its largest market. For 2013, Paessler experienced a 33% sales increase in the United States and Canada and a 39% worldwide increase. The company cited enhancements to its PRTG Network Monitor product and a strong focus on its partner program as reasons for the positive results.

Globally, Paessler logged a 44% increase in sales coming from its resellers. The firm signed nearly 100 new partners in the United States alone and believes its new certification program, along with momentum coming from a range of new product features, will make 2014 a positive year for the company as well.

In addition to its Paessler Certified Sales Professional and Paessler Certified Monitoring Professional programs introduced, Paessler added to its business development ranks in 2013 by hiring channel sales managers in the United States, Australia and Latin America. It also hired a new technical presales team member to strengthen marketing support for partners, and raised its companywide employee headcount by nearly one-third.

Among other accomplishments for 2013, Paessler was ranked in the prestigious EMEA Technology Fast 500, honoring the EMEA's fastest growing technology companies, by global auditing, tax and management consulting firm Deloitte. Paessler also stepped up its exposure at many of the industry's top international trade shows including VMUG and Cisco Live. The company will be extending its visibility in 2014 by exhibiting in May at Cisco Live and at VMworld in August, both in San Francisco.
