Pactera and EKA Sign Teaming Agreement to Build a Collaboration Framework on Engineering Opportunities

MILAN, May 22, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Pactera and EKA leadership teams gathered yesterday in Milan to formalize a teaming agreement and join their forces on engineering domains ranging from Product Lifecycle Management, Business Process Management, Document Management Systems and research themes related to the industrial sector.

This agreement allows Pactera to acquire and develop domain knowledge around engineering platforms and processes used in industrial sectors like aerospace, automotive, manufacturing, engineering services, building such competencies in Europe (Italy and Hungary), and thus creating an engineering hub, crucial to implement our "rightshore" approach in this area.

EKA is a spin-off of the University of Salento (Italy) founded in mid-2010, after many years of collaboration among the University and several industrial partners involved in Regional, National and European major research projects.
