SEATTLE, June 22, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Further enhancing the convenience of the neighborhood clinic, CareClinic is launching an enhanced website while opening two new locations. Bartell Drugs and Group Health are pleased to announce the opening of the first Snohomish County CareClinic location at the Alderwood Bartell Drugs on June 27. The 10th retail clinic is scheduled to open July 11 in West Seattle's Jefferson Square.
Already known as a quick and efficient all-in-one place for diagnosis and treatment of common ailments, CareClinic's new website now allows patients to add their name to a queue from any online device.
"Patients come to CareClinics for convenient, quality care," said John Lewis, director of CareClinic Operations. "The new website gives a patient a view into how long she or he may have to wait." The CareClinic site can be accessed at http://care-clinic.org.
"CareClinics have been a great addition to Bartell Drugs' service offerings," Lewis said. "The convenience and value of the clinics, and the professional medical services available through our Group Health certified health providers, are an excellent option for individuals needing quick, convenient medical care and vaccinations at an affordable price, seven-days-a-week with no appointment necessary."
CareClinics are open to everyone ages 2 and up, not just Group Health members. Most visits are covered by insurance plans or an affordable fee without insurance. The CareClinic locations also offer a variety of vaccines and immunizations, as well as Sport and Camp physicals for just $50.
Patient usage has nearly doubled at the existing eight clinics since opening and more than 3,500 vaccinations and immunizations have been administered during that time. Patients were seen for a range of common ailments, including upper respiratory infections, rashes and skin issues; pinkeye; ear infections; and sinusitis, and many others.
