Pacific Western Bank Hires Rebecca H. Cordes as Executive Vice President, Human Resources

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., Jan. 15, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Pacific Western Bank is pleased to announce that Rebecca Cordes has been hired as Executive Vice President, Human Resources. She will be located in Pacific Western Bank's Greenwood Village, Colorado executive offices. 

She will lead Pacific Western Bank's enterprise-wide human resources function. Her role is critically important as Pacific Western Bank competes for top talent that reflects an expanding geographical footprint, and commitment to excellence in the banking industry.

Ms. Cordes brings over 30 years of banking experience to her new role at Pacific Western Bank. Prior to joining, Ms. Cordes served as the Executive Vice President, Director of Support Services at First Western Trust Bank, principal banking subsidiary of First Western Financial, Inc. During her tenure with First Western Financial Inc., she also served as the Director of Human Capital and as Senior Operations Officer for First Western Capital Management, a registered investment advisory firm.  Ms. Cordes is a highly respected member of the Denver business community, having served on the board of directors of the Metro Chamber of Commerce, and as a Board Chair of the Denver Metro Chamber Leadership Foundation. She was also a board member for Rocky Mountain Junior Achievement and was appointed by Governor Hickenlooper to serve on the Colorado Commission on Affordable Health Care from 2014-2017.
