Since joining the Bank in January, Mr. Jahns has been responsible for oversight of sourcing and underwriting film and television deals as well as developing new business opportunities in the digital media space.

Mr. Jahns brings over 15 years experience in the financial and entertainment industries. Prior to joining Pacific Mercantile Bank, Mr. Jahns served as COO for several entertainment finance companies including PalmStar Media Capital where he was responsible for analyzing potential film deals and oversaw company operations. Dan has also written, directed and produced for film, TV and the stage and is currently executive producer for the dark crime comedy SPEED FREAK starring Michael C. Hall. Earlier in his career, he was based in New York, Tokyo and Hong Kong with investment banks Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs.
Mr. Jahns has an MBA from the Wharton School, a MA in International Business from the University of Pennsylvania and a BA in Economics and Japanese Studies from Bucknell University.
